Walking for fun

Miss Gracie sure does like her walks. Unfortunately Texas heat in the summer time can prevent us from venturing out of the air conditioned comforts of our house. But this evening was amazingly cool for July 4th. I couldn't resist taking Gracie for a walk. And tonight she and i ventured farther than we ever have. It was wonderful. I'm trying to lose weight so walking Gracie has the extra bonus of exercise for me. Her human :-). Now Gracie is tucked nicely in her bed. Off to dreamland she goes. I'm sure her dreams consists of endless romps in the cool grass and a mountain of rawhide bones and toys. Say Goodnight Gracie!

Gracie tried to help paint today. She mostly supervised. I think she and i made a pretty good team.

Got a bone to pick....

Gracie Mae loves chewing on rawhides. She is one happy girl tonight. I like them because they keep her busy and out of trouble. It's a win win for everybody :-)

Gracies Fur....

I haven't had a chance to get Gracie groomed so i cut her hair myself last Thursday night (right before i nearly cut my toe off and the firemen had to use a crow bar to rescue me uuggg) anyways.. look at her pretty brindle markings. I'm not going to show her whole hair cut because its very amature. i could have done better with the right set up. She fought me through out the whole process. She did not like the noises of the shears. At least she'll keep cool in this hot weather, even if it's not a perfect cut. Lol I won't be embarressing her with a long walk anytime soon :-)

Gracies New Game

Gracie has a new game. She brings her toy to me. If I pull on it she runs and jumps on the couch, then run back to me. She repeats this over and over again. LOL silly girl.
